The thing that upsets me Gibby is this junk is more important than helping our Troops in Afganistan.

about the troops,why are they there.?what is the objective.?do they have a plan.?just seems to me as soon as they come back nothing will change.?thought they might have learned by now.this is a spirit war not a body war,you can,t beat people to a pulp to change there mind.Jesus is quite clear give them love ,you get love back.give them pain guess what happens.?children are very impressionable.

I ageer with you this is spiritual war, the whole world is involved in it, but A big problem here in the US is Obama is on the wrong side of that war. ( My Opinion) unfortunatly the last thing on his mind is the troops in Afganistan,
federal controlled health care is his #1 agenda.
The good news we christians have is Jesus is on our side.

It's not as simple as that but to much detail is needed to expain it, so I'll leave it as I agree to disagree.

I agree. I have a Granddaughter who has to grow up in this world and it concerns me.

Troops in Afghanistan ? They should be bringing them home, not sending more.

There has been allot of concerns and worry over this Global Warming and financial problems and a host of other things such as swine flu, and I sure have gone through allot of worry for what, Nothing, that is the same for everyone else Christian and Non-Christian alike.

Well first off worry, the Lord tells us not to worry. Matthew 6: 25

" Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more the clothing?"

(In my commentary it decribes worry) merimnoa ( mer-im-nah-oh);
Strong's #3309: From merizo, " to divide into parts, The word suggests a distraction, preoccupation with things anxiety, stress, and pressure.
Jesus speaks against worry and anxiety because of the watchful care of a heavenly Father who is ever minful of daily needs.

Then again in Matthew 6: 31 & 34 Jesus repeats basically the samething two more times. Now when Jesus says things two or three times, that means He's really stressing the extreme importance of that statement, almost to the point of saying it's sinful to worry.

Worry is of the devil to cause us to keep our mind off Jesus.

My point is things like evolution, global warming, are major weapons of satan's arsenal, think about it who brought out these things, man. Do you know who tried hard to spread the word about Global Warming, Al Gore, why because he was thinking of running for president, and then when he was proven by some scientist that his book he wrote was full of misleading imformation, he backed off and shut his mouth.

You see there is many sceintist on both sides of the Global Warming issue, just as there is in evolution.

Yes there is going to be many severe weather changes and many increasing storm conditions in diverse places but that is end time prophecies.
See Matthew 24: the whole chapter pay special attention to Verses 6 & 7.

You see Satan is not going to make Christians lose their salvation, but he can certainly cause us as much troubles that takes are minds of God.

Now I know bad things happen to Christians as well as non Christians, but the one difference between Christians and non Christians, is Jesus and He wants to handle our problems, but we must come to Him. See Matthew 11:30
Unforunatly sin entered the world and corrupted everything. So we will have some tribulation in our lives, but before the Great Tribulation we who remain faithful will be taken out of here.

Not so many years ago we were being told by the 'experts' that the ice was building up on the polar ice caps and the earth was in danger of tilting and an ice age was imminent. This has proved to be not so. Now some scientists are claiming that we are causing global warming that will be our doom, whilst others are talking about the influence of sun spots. All I know is that scripture tells me that God is almighty and is in full control of events, to such a degree that he has prophesied a chain of events that lead up to the end and we, as Christians, will never be left or forsaken. Claims of global warming create fear of death and people panic. The truth is, none of us are going to leave this world physically alive, and as scripture tells us, the day of our death is better than the day of our birth, I can't see what all the fuss is about. We are citizens of the kingdom of heaven guys we are aliens in this world. Eccles. 7:1 (ANIV)
