Level 5 It is indeed a dangerous work, but the Lord knows what he is doing. "The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church" as one Church Father put it.
Incidentally, this story was the main news headline yesterday, here in the UK.
Level 4 Whenever I read about a missionary that has been martyred, I think about this scripture:
Revelation 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
May the LORD give this woman's family, PEACE that surpasses all understanding. May they find COMFORT, in the LORD.

Lampstand Senior Member I am praying and hoping that somehow this womans death will bring many to Christ.
That they will see the Love of Jesus and Christians practising what they preach, because the Church gets so much bad press, and non-christians must sometimes think that Christians are a useless bunch.

Secret Believers. There are so many people in the world that because of thier love for the Lord Jesus face a death sentence every day.
I dont have my Bible with me (I left it at home) but there is a verse in Matthew 24 where Jesus tells his disciples that they will be hated by the world because of His name. It is difficult to imagine what that must be like living somewhere where you could not worship freely.
The Bible also tells us that true believers will be victimised in the end days by the scarlet woman who rides the beast.
