Sarah Palin hit a home run in the vice presidential debate last night. Apparantly, it took the wind out of the media's sails.

I had a college class last night so I missed it live. I was excited to read commentary on it from my favorite blogs but the traffic must have been heavy to these sites as I had a difficult time landing on one. Anyway, I recorded it and watched it this morning. She did a fantastic job. Biden did well also, but Palin's performance certainly silenced some criticism.

Now, if the McCain campaign would only let her out of her cage...

I think she is right; the media is going to step up the assaults starting today and it is going to get just plain ugly. I will be praying for her as well.

Who is Chuck Baldwin and how come some say they will be voting for him. I thought you only had a choice between Republican and Democrat. Pardon my ignorance

Many names show up on the ticket but it's best to vote either Republican or Democrat. Voting for anyone else is like throwing your vote away because they just don't have enough supporters.

So does that mean that you do not have preferential voting?
Here if you vote for an independent as a protest vote your next choice if it is for a major party then gets counted. It's letting them know you are not happy but your vote still counts.
