What do you think about what is going on in Georia (the previous Soviet state) and how does it figure into prophecy?? Is this the beginning of the end for America?? America, as you know, is not referenced in Revelations.
If the USSR :takes back" all it's satellite countries that split of from it in the '90's, it will leave a direct path to Israel. These are things we should be looking at and wondering in AWE......is it coming to pass RIGHT NOW!! I am waiting to see what happens in Israel.....who will the treaty with "the many"

If they do pull out it is only because of the fear of being politically disgraced and financially injured.. The fact that they attacked Georgia to begin with speaks volumes of their true heart capacity.

I also think the world should demand they pay for and repair the damage they've inflicted on those those poor people and their homes, economy, ect. instead of other countries having to step in.

I Believe this will eventually be the start of the third world war as in the war in Ezekiel 38, 39 but I don't know where The US fits, it is not referred to anywhere, in the bible, of course it would have to end up with Russia attacking Isreal. One other though, if Obama wins the Presidentcy
then we would be very weak militarily and could be rendered defenseless. This is just my opinion.

I would like to pose this question. If we are in the end days why would God ignore USA in end prophecy? I think He did not ignore the US or Great Britain for that matter. And yes Georgia is important in the scheme of things. Dr George Friedman of Stratfor on August 12 has written some very interesting things about Russia and the reasons behind this invasion.

Russia and China IMo are the kings of the east that are depicted in Rev 9:15-16 where the 4 angels amass an army of 200 million to punish the beast.
(Who is the beast? That is where knowledge of the Holy Roman Empire is needed.)
Only two countries on this planet can amass such numbers. The combined population of these countries is about 1.35 billion. That means that Russia and China would only have to call upon 15% of their combined populations to have such an army.
America ceases to play a part (look at what the Lord says about Judah and Israel two completely different entities or peoples the need to punish them to bring them back to obeying God) a United Europe is about to take centre stage. Watch for a charismatic leader (German) of Europe to unify them. IMO it wont be long. There is no love lost between Russia and Germany/Europe
