Ephesians 5: 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

1 Thessalonians 5:21Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22Abstain from all appearance of evil. 23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 2: 16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Matthew 6: 7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Truths to consider:

If Our Father knows before we ask Him, what need does the Holy Spirit has to pray anything verbally?

Consider how the Holy Spirit speak when He does speak.

John 16: 13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Consider how we are witnessing:

Matthew 10:19But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. 20For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

The vanity of prayer language is that Satan doesn't know what you are praying for when you supposedly pray in tongues, but if the Holy Spirit is only saying what He hears, then why would there be a need for the Holy Spirit to pray to God if God is speaking that which the Holy Spirit hears and speaks?

The contention here is that there is no necessity for the Holy Spirit to "pray to God".

Babbling tongues as a prayer language has been used by occultists in the world before Christ came. How can God call these people out to a personal reconciled relationship with God through Jesus Christ to be witnesses of the Son, the Good News to man, if they are going to continue the practises that God called them out from? How can these former occultists testify of their new life in Christ to those that knew them and are still in the occult, if they see them still doing the former practises of their former sinful lifestyles of seeking familiar spirits?

Would God give a gift and bury it as an unfaithful steward that buries the talent? No. Then in context of 1 Corinthians 14th chapter: tongues was never meant to be a stand alone gift which was why Paul was comparing that singular gift of tongues with the singular gift of prophesy over all spiritual gifts to seek because tongues is not a stand alone gift as it must come with interpretation from another for that gift to be understood and fruitful as all manifestations of the Spirit were given to profit the body withal, declaring that no gift should be sought by seeking to receive the Spirit again.

1 Corinthians 12:7-13 2 Corinthians 11:1-4 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJB

There is no other calling nor any other invitation to heed or another door to enter nor any more drinking of the One Spirit because Jesus Christ is our resting place as we are to go to Jesus Christ for the gifts we petitions for or to the Father, asking in Jesus' name, but never to the Holy Spirit because there is no "going to" the Holy Spirit when He is within us as Jesus is before that throne of grace, making intercessions for us in according to the will of God because He is the only Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Jesus is the Word that searches our hearts ( Hebrews 4:12-16 KJB ) and knows the mind of the Spirit as "he" not "the Spirit" ( Romans 8:26-27 KJB ) is the One interceding for the saints as the Spirit, "itself" is the means by which these intercession is being made by Jesus Christ directly. That is why in the KJB, "groanings which cannot be uttered" means no sound thus leading into verse 27 as to how this intercession was being made by the means of the Holy Spirit if no sound is needed to be uttered and that is because Jesus is the One that searches the hearts and knows the mind of the Spirit as Jesus is the Only Mediator between God and man.

This is in keeping with John 14:6-7 in how we are to approach God in knowing Him personally and by no other way except through the Son as all prayer requests are to be done in His name for the Son to receive the glory of answered prayers. John 14:13-14

May God cause the increase and lead others to shun the vanity of prayer language and return to our first love, the Bridegroom, in relating to God the Father.
