Hi to all , and as I was reading a thread , where someone made a Reference to John 20:22 and was hammering Pauline Dispensationalism .

What is the CONTEXT of Matt, Mark , Luke and John ?

In John 20 , all will see that the CONTEXT of John 20 , is Jewish by verse 19 , 21 .

In verse 21 He commissions them !!

Then in verse 22 , Jesus makes a statement that is Mis-understood , by those as 2 Peter 3:16 , that those who do NOT understand PAUL ;

#1 , Are Un-learned as to dispensationalism !!'

#2 , Are Un-stable as to what PAUL writes !!

#3 , And Twist Pauline Truth to their own Destruction .

#4 , This Jesus said to them , " Reveive ye the Holy Spirit ."

Who will check the Greek and reveal to us what is real says ??

I , checked and this is HOW the Original really reads , RECEIVE YE HOLY SPIRIT .!!

I left out the Greek Article , because it is not in the Original Greek and the word " THE " is not in the Greek Text .

This means since the Holy Spirit , had not yet been given as John 7:39 REVEALS , Jesus did not give the Person of the Holy Spirit !!

The Greek Article " the " points to SPECIFIC things when it is used , which is what DID NOT HAPPEN HERE .

What , it means he Breathed ON THEM the Power of the Holy Spirit , that is what is spoken in Luke 24:40 ?

They were to tarry in Jeruslaem , until ye be ENDUED WITH POWER FROM ON HIGH .

They were given the Power to remit sins , so HOW DID THEY DO THAT ???
