how many covernants were given.?

To my knowledge Cat, there were, under the old,,,,

Circumcision covenant.

The Noah/Rainbow covenant. God promising to not flood the earth again afterward.

Covenant with Moses. Follow these laws and I promise you will be Blessed. Don't follow them, I promise you will be in big trouble.

Abraham Covenant.

David Covenant.

Then under the new,,,

Jesus Covenant and the blood sacrafice.

A covenant is much more than a promise or a set of laws. A covenant is about relationship. When we enter covenant with God we enter into a family relationship.

In the New Covenant Jesus enabled us to become children of the Father and his brothers and sisters.

But to those who did accept him he gave power to become children of God (Jn 1:12)

I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.” (2Cor 6:18)

Marriage is a covenant. When two people marry their families are joined together in kinship.
