Its a very good point and when I say the creation is biblical and the theory of evolution is unbiblical , of course I accept that there are different varieties of things and if you had the misfortune to be born a mouse and your coloured dayglo green your life expectancy is not going to be long , so yes there are varieties within groups who will have a greater chance of survival , but the bible tells us that after the creation Adam named all the creatures God had created , He did not name a blob of slime in a pond "slime which will evolve into me " how could hhe because he was created Man

I just can't imagine you originating as a blob Onesi,,,

I kinda wander from Genesis to evolution and back when I do the thinking thing, and usually get stuck somewhere in between ....

WE all do , we all in a way want to conform to the ways of the world and not appear strange , so things like evolution and other topics which go against the word of God are not easy to stand up against because of the stigma placed one , but we are christians , we believe in the inerrent word of God and as it has been said we must allow the bible to be "our" final authority on any matter , and it says what it says , therefore I for one will stand on that truth , and if people dont agree then I will just use what the scriptures say to support it , thats all I can do .But to me anyone who puts forward evolution is strange because they cannot explain the beginning I can ...In the beginning ...GOD, the first 4 words of the bible , HE KNOWS

Faith/trust is the means of our justification, trust is first exercised after regeneration by the Spirit, born above, and it is written the just shall live by trust.
Trust is the exercise of the heavenly gift and is the means by which the just shall live. Trust is or at least should be exercised in each and every area of our lives and is the fruit by which we judge the tree.
Hebrews 11 explains the witness of trust. It tells us what understanding trust gives the soul that has been justified and regenerated:
''It is by trust we understand that the world was fashioned by the word of God, and thus the visible was created out of the invisible''.

This is the witness of trust, confirmed in scripture. Remembering that scripture itself is the dead letter and believing in something just because it's written is not justifying trust, it's just believing something because it is written.
Trust allows us to understand '' In the beginning God created'', if there is no understanding there is no trust to give the understanding, no justification, no regeneration and therefore no salvation.

Bearing in mind there are false brethren, false teachers, wolves in sheep's clothing, false apostles, the false prophet with all his agents and that John told us to ''test the spirits'', we have a duty to judge the false from the true. The Lord Himself commended the Church of the Ephesians for testing the apostles and finding them false.

At conversion nobody has to explain to the newly born saint that the heavens and the earth were created by God, trust has already given the knowledge and understanding to the heart and in doing so has comforted the soul.

Take away the creation and you take away the new creation because you have taken away the need for salvation.

    Blessings, H.

    Wow!
Thank you atruster. You really made a lot of sense to me.
I used to wonder where scientists got their ideas from. But at the same time, all these theories confused me.

Do you know Sara whats really cool about the bible , for a christian there is no question that we need an answer for that God hasnt given in His Word , I dont mean any of this open the book and whatever verse i see is for me palava , thats spooky stuff , I mean as you study the word methodically , you will find passages that will open your eyes as they are written , in context .

this question and its follow on questins immediately brings to mind Pauls second letter to Timothy chapter 3 as an example to us as saint of the the church the body of Christ saved by grace through faith , also 2 corinthians 11:13-15

I would like to point out the scriptures that tell us that everything created is created by God, but if you feel that it's been discussed enough let me know and that will be it.
GOD BLESS EVERYONE! Your Brother Robert
