| Not if we're born again. They can put thoughts into our minds, but they CANNOT "take control" of us. They can only do to us what God allows them to do. As for the unsaved, unclean spirits (demons for lack of a better word) can possess and control them. We as born again children of God CANNOT be possessed since we have the Holy Spirit within us.

| Greetings in the name of Jesus: ![]() ![]() " Can Christian buck down Satan"?....I think that is to ask. "Can Christians Back down Satan" I say Satan has absolutely no power, except that power, which is Given Satan by Man. Let me quote a verse....1 Corinthians 10:13. " There hath No temptation taken you, but such which is common unto man". My humble interpretations says, There is Only One Kind of Temptation; and that one Kind of temptation to man, which man is tempted by, is Common unto man temptation. There is no other kind of temptation but " common unto man" temptation. This is Not orthodox theology, but 1 St, century Christians theology of Satan, which is Jewish theology of Satan, which Jesus also did believe. Jewish theology is right about almost everything; except about Jesus being the Messiah; Jews and their concepts of Satan are the True theology of Satan, of which Jesus and disciples do confirm, which is not believed, or taught as truth by Orthodox Christians teachings, which is believed by most today. Christian theology about Satan is totally bogus. Jesus and Disciples were Monotheists, Christians today are Polytheists. I pray my words do not offend, God bless all Christians in forum, and all those who use it. |
