If you mean destroy in the literal sense, no, I do not think we can destroy demons. God even told us we were not fighting flesh and blood, but spirits in high places, principalities, etc.

While I do not think we should be afraid of demons and such, I think a lot of people forget that these are powerful beings who can easily take control of us whenever they like, no matter how much me or anyone else denies the fact.

I am not trying to start a feud or offend people. It's just a personal opinion and a thought; food-for-thought as such. So, I don't want people taking offense to my comment(s).

Thanks, JIP. It was pre-cautionary in a way because I have posted things along the lines of that before at other places and I was bashed and treated horribly because of it.

Personally I think my demons are my vices that I have to fight... if I give in to the vices then I am under the control of these vices... the demons are in me ..
well if I am mentally disarranged well then it is a medical thing, not supernatural... thats what I like to believe...

I have not met a person possessed by demons... mentally challenged - yes.

Demon are just evil spirits: emmisaries of Satan. Jesus while on earth showed that he had complete authority over demons.

Demons can not entor in to us unless we allow it. It may not be intentional on our part but when we are not keeping closelely in touch with God then we can allow space in our lives for demons to enter. A spiritual man can cast out demons. They are spiritual being and cannot be destroyed. Jesus cast out demons he did not destroy them. They will eventually be cast into the lake of fire.

I have met person where I could see the evil looking out of them and I also know people who have had evil spirits exorcised.

Wow that must have been an experience.
Yes ofcourse it's another world.

But if demons enter those who are not who are not in close touch with God..then would not there be demons in many people.. i can find many around me... but I dont think they are or were demon possessed. It does not add up Bloodbath. What say you?
