Testimonies.

I have found that testimonies come in two catergories.

The testimony of declaring that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that you believe Jesus Testimony.

The testimony of a life that is reflecting that belief.

I have never written a testimony because it would be too long.
I have and Alpha and Omega in that God has blessed me and humbled me by being there when I have needed him since Childhood.

I will say that when the Lord opened up the truth for me, I really knew what it meant to be battling forces not of the flesh. My hope in God has taken me through these times and given me faith to come through.
For me the testimony of Christ in my life is not just about believing but a constant walk in life and often facing many unpleasant things. But never losing sight of the real prize of life with God for eternity in Christ.

What we have now fails and fades into insignificance at what we have been promised in Christ when he returns. I would say my life is my testimony to God and Jesus Christ. A testimony of correction,Love, pain, hurt, triials and tribulation which are all built and based in the truth about God and our Lord Jesus Christ. We grow through the truth and hope we have received in Jesus.
MY race has not ended yet so my testimony is ongoing and my hopes are reflected through the promises of God in Christ.

Jesus is the promised Messiah and the person who has brought me salvation by dying for my sins and raising from the dead for me. My sins are forgiven through Christ Jesus and every person who believes is also forgiven.

Our greatest testimony is when we receive those promises.

Hey Faith, I have been mulling over submitting my testimony, then I saw your post.
I agree with what you have written. My testimony would fit into the latter category.
I think we can bear these points you have quite rightly made, and still "do" testimonys. I am glad to hear how God has touched your life.
Our testimonys are ongoing........until we reach the prize.......

Well Faith I am sure you are right that you can’t fit your whole testimony in here on one page. . It could be maybe at least 20 pages of writing to tell others what GOD had done in your life. . I relate to you also because neither can I put my testimonies in one or 2 pages. But rather it would have to be in chapters or a few pages at a time. . The Amazing thing is that we are not faithful but GOD is. . I for myself can not go on and Brag that I have been some good Christian all the time and I have earned my way to some high status.

. When we begin to follow GOD He becomes our invisible Guide, working even when we don’t know He is. , Even to the unsaved God is working in some form or another. . It is just that many do not realize that GOD is right there doing miracles every day. . Here is a factual truth. Christ wants to save us even more than we would desire to give up on him and kill ourselves.

GOD is a Good God and there is no 2 ways about it.
