JIP's double testimony - thought i put in a poem.

DOUBLE TESTIMONY
Being just a popular old sinner,
fun 'n Friends was sure a winner.
Those weak 'n about to fall,
do not be tempted by the above call.

A returning back-slider - twice,
but not competing for a prize.
Broken 'n bruised, for pardon he humbly tries,
Converted again!!!, Saved again!!!, he cries.

Twice fallen, four times shy,
but for God's Love, the limit was His sky.
Fetched from the devil,
and cleansed from all evil.

Double Grace, double good,
fool-proof being under His hood.
Got Grace first from God's own Hand,
second time around Jesus was just as Grand.

He has proof of seeing and feeling,
of God and the sly evil one reeling.
Before, being deceived,
now in awe of Grace received.

He is set up to be a double witness,
his testimony rich and full of goodness.
Must serve in place of two men,
his story he must thus pen.

Jeremiah 2:19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts
Jeremiah 3:22 Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.

This is the first time I have seen anyone post their testimony in the form of a poem. . I think Poems sometimes better convey our thoughts, because Poems go into much deeper feelings occurring inside the Heart and the mind. .

. I like this poem because it shows how you kept falling away from GOD, but that no matter how many times you failed GOD still accepted you just as much as He did the very first time. .
