I'm with Lily on this one, the more we accept these outragous things the more normal they become. Epilepsy can be a very debilitating condition and needs to be taken seriously. This type of belittling is the start of a rather dangerous downward spiral. Look what has happened to our Churches over the years - you are offended by what we do? then we won't do it etc etc. It all adds up to a weakening and watering down. Just as The Trinity should not be diluted to make others feel more comfortable neither should our health problems.

My sentiments exactly. Just because morbid curiosity seems to be becoming the norm these days doesn't mean we have to accept it and like it.
I have dealt with seizures since childhood, to feel that aura coming over you like a black cloud and know you are going into one is very scary and it shouldn't be made into some kind of morbid exhibition.

Its very frightening to watch to and I just wonder have these people who " will " pay to see this are prepared for the very frightening thing they are about to see. Horrendous noises, grinding of teeth, jaws clamped like a rabid rottwieller, foaming at the mouth, very frightening contortions of the face.

Art ? I am offended that people should think that all of the above is art. It's a horrendous sight !

this being so, it stands to reason, he will erode all morals and decency. We as mature Christians need to see it for what it is, a move of the enemy to further cauterise man's sensitivity and harden his heart. Our war is not against the deluded person who has been dragged so low as to believe that this action is art.

The fact that we're debating it Galaen shows that God intends it to be aired. In this, the Spirit may move some people to become involved and pray, he may also use the debate to allow us to post what's in our hearts and so widen understanding. It's good to have the facility of Lampstand to share on that's a blessing to thank God for.
