The only problem is coconut oil makes you loose weight, it makes your metabolism rise. You have to be careful with coconut oil.
To maintain your weight or gain more weight always go for the olive oil, its the best for giving you good reserves, and you can work harder if you have an adequate amount of olive oil in your diet.

I used to stir fry with sunflower oil but now I only use olive oil. I don't deep fry anything. I've heard that olive oil retains it's health benefits even when heated for cooking.

Is that an answer to the obesity problem?

Well its a simple answer, I think more complicated answers will be heard. Most people are 'obeast' because they don't get out and work hard physically, or play any sport. No amount of food can make you fat if you are excersizing properly, and working hard.

I think no body spends time outside anymore, kids stay indoors playing video games, and eating food they don't need.

Some people can have coconut oil and nothing happens, but in my experience I loose weight I can't afford.
Thats why I have olive oil, and take alot of olive oil when I'm trekking. At the end of the trek, everyone else is in rags, but I will have only lost ten pounds max.
Theres real energy in olive oil. I use it to heat and light as well as for food. If you start feeling run down have a drink of olive oil, it will restore your strength back.

We drown our food with olive oil here, its the early Spainish influence I think.

Olive groves are everywhere here, I grow table and oil olives, so I take it for granted a bit. I learned from old Spainish monks " The first thing you plant on your land is olives and grapes ", that truly is good advice.

Use a dual olive and grape press and you don't need two different pieces of gear.

For me walnut oil is expensive so extracting the oil the cheapest way. Try to get cheap husked walnuts in bulk, then blend them into a paste, then bake the paste at 180 C for a full half hour.
Then cloth squeeze the oil out of the paste. Allow the oil to seep through the cloth after twisting.
Nothing like fresh walnut oil on your salad.

Oh yea, I love walnut oil, and I got a bit of a passion for pickled walnuts too, I always have them at Christmas time to go with the cold cuts.... Yummmmmmmmmm

I may have a go, would be on a small scale, but some out of town markets do sell cheaper walnuts...
