For those needing physical healing

I've been going through difficult times due to a protruding, herniated disc in my lower back. Despite being hospitalized in a foreign country and on bed rest for far longer than I would choose, God has taken this injury and used it for Good by helping me draw closer to Him and understand His will for us to be HEALTHY and not broken or sick.

Among the many things that have helped me, here are a couple...

The first is a song called "There Is" by a Christian group named BOSH: MySpace.com - bosh - Bournemouth, UK - Alternative / Rock / Progressive - www.myspace.com/boshmusic It's an enchanting song that will speak healing into your body, soul and spirit.

Secondly, I did some studies from Andrew Womack's ministry called "God Wants You Well": God Wants You Well - Audio Teaching - Andrew Wommack Ministries They are available in audio versions from that link, and there is also a pamphlet version you can request from the site. I found these studies to be SENSATIONAL! I learned new ways to look at healing and ways to pray for/about healing.

"God Wants You Well" is a 4-part series. The titles of the studies are:
Healing Is In Christ's Atonement
What About Paul's Thorn In The Flesh?
Why Isn't Everyone Healed?
The Laws of Faith

The key is that physical healing is a part of Christ's saving work on the Cross. Another very important concept to me was that Paul's "thorn in the flesh" was probably persecution rather than an actual physical ailment! Whoa!

So, for those that are needing and seeking physical healing from the Healer, I HIGHLY recommend that song and these studies to lift up your spirits and your body to the Lord. Be blessed and be healed, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

Yep, I am still in the Czech Republic. I'm serving here as an English teacher, youth group leader and orphan outreach leader... Though lately I've just been a Bible student. Haha... I am totally trusting in God for healing. I've been learning more and more about God's desire for physical wholeness and wellness (as well as spiritual wholeness and wellness) as I've looked into the Word and prayed constantly. Can you tell me something about the orphan outreach in you involved in... I am interesting to know more about orphan support groups and how they function...
