But I love Al Pachino & Robert de Nero.
That's a good cause... I will consider and try to do it...
Good thought Amaaanda
With the numbers of Christ followers in this country (and in the world), we can unite to effect change in our society by letting the media know that we don't want more of the morally lax products they're putting out there. There have been some movies produced in the last few years that stand up for what is right and righteous.
For this upcoming gift-giving season, if you choose to give a loved one a DVD as a gift, please consider giving one of the Fox Faith films (www. foxfaith. com). When Hollywood sees the great demand for these films, they will make more! The more GOOD, wholesome movies are out there, the more Hollywood will produce.
A couple movies from Fox Faith that I think look quite good are Amazing Grace (about the abolition of the slave trade in Britain), Nim's Island and One Night With The King. They've also got Sound of Music for sale on this site, which is a classic for any DVD collection.
In any case, I wanted to put the idea out there. We Christians might not have endless resources, but we can put what resources we have behind what we support... and that is the Kingdom of the Almighty God. Plus, we want to be filling our eyes and minds with what his holy and not what is profane.

You could send a financial gift in your loved ones name to me so I could get started.
Seriously, though, the church, the Body of Christ SHOULD support people like me, who want to make good quality movies that present the Gospel of Christ and promote the moral values we believe in.
Granted, Family-friendly movies do far better than movies geared for adult audiences (PG-13, R, Etc.), but Hollywood will NEVER embrace the values that we do or produce movies with said values. They will, however, distribute such movies made by independent production companies like Cloud Ten, Namesake, Etc. Which is why the Church needs to support Christian filmmakers. In fact, Hollywood is going to be more anti-Christian:When Hollywood sees the great demand for these films, they will make more! The more GOOD, wholesome movies are out there, the more Hollywood will produce.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
Titus 2:11-12
films without propoganda would be a start.
on the subject of films, I have wondered why doesn't someone make a film about
The book of Acts it would make a brilliant film, full of action and the gospel too!![]()
