on the subject of films, I have wondered why doesn't someone make a film about
The book of Acts it would make a brilliant film, full of action and the gospel too!

Actually, someone did make a movie on the book of Acts, the ENTIRE book of Acts, word for word. It can be found here:

Visual Bible: Acts - 2 DVD Set

It was released a few years ago after the Book of Matthew was released. It stars Dean Jones as Luke the writer of Acts. I saw an edited, 2 hour version and really liked it. Hopefully I will be able to add it to my DVD collection someday.
