| I really miss having cable and being able to watch HGTV. It's a little easier since so many networks now have so many of their shows available to watch online....but it's not the same. |

No cable here (thank you Lord!) by choice. I look at all the hours I wasted in front of the TV growing up. I am a weak minded Christian so I gravitate to the things that detract from the Lord. I struggle trying to read my Bible already so if there is another distraction, you know I'll go for it. I wonder why God saw fit to save me?

| Because He knows the real stevem on the inside and what the end result will be. God is smart....He never screws up. Bible reading is something you grow into. I used to not enjoy it at all. I would buy good Christian books to read on various subjects or on history. I also began looking around for preachers online who I enjoyed listening to. One of my favorites was Allistair Begg. I would sit and listen to his podcasts at night and have learned a great deal about the Bible from his teachings. |

| I don't have cable either (can't afford it) but I have been buying the "Smallville" boxed sets, and have to rely on IMDB or my sister to keep up with the current season. I DO get to do my laundry at my parent's, once a week. They have DirectTV satellite, and I usually, hope that G4 is having an "XPlay" marathon. I used to watch "XPlay" way back when it started and when it was known by another name. For those looking for Godly entertainment for their TV, I think you can still get SkyAngel the satellite service that offers Christian programming. I would love to get it, when I can afford it.
