Default The Last Movie I Saw Was...

This is a popular topic on the Crosswalk Movie forum. Share with us, movies you have, recently seen.

The last movie I saw was, obviously, "Bella".

Before that, I had gone to the theater to see "Iron Man", about the Marvel Comics superhero. It was really good. And if you see it, you have to stay through the credits, for they have a special scene afterwards.

The last movie I saw was "I am legend" with Will Smith. Quite a bizarre flick, IMO.

Looking forward to Prince Caspian this summer.

The last movie I saw was Ratatouille (i think). It was really good, surprisingly!!
I would recommend it, even though it's a kids film.

.....oh, just had a thought; do you mean at the cinema or on TV?
'Cos the last film I saw on TV was "The last King of Scotland". That is a 5 star film, but there again it is an 18 and all to do with human rights, so right up my street. Not everyones taste. It is about morality, broadly speaking, and social history.
here is link if you are interested in what it is about. (It is nothing to do with scotland!!)http://movies.about.com/od/moviesinp...land041505.htm

That movie reminded me of "Hotel Rowanda" which made me cry buckets. It is so easy to forget how tough some people in parts of the world have it.

We rented 'The Private War of Charlie Wilson' last weekend. I really liked it because I'm interested in politics. No one else enjoyed it all that much.

BTW titus212...Thanks for giving this movie forum a start. I think it should be interesting!

Any movie you have seen at the cinema or at home, whether on tv or DVD, is fine.

I just got back from the theater (cinema) after seeing "Speed Racer", the live action version of the japanese anime series from way back. It was an alright movie. The action sequences were really good as was the story line, which remained true to the series (as did the overall, visual style of the movie). I guess you would have to be a fan of the cartoon to really appreciate this movie.

Before that I had rented a couple of movies on DVD. One was "Cloverfield", the American answer to Japan's Godzilla. A giant monster attacks the island of Manhattan in New York. The whole movie was shot from the POV of a video camera, some partygoers were using, although, clever as it was, there were some moments (mostly when they were running for their lives) the camera motion was a little unbearable (fair warning). And at the end, when the footage goes back to the Coney Island scene from a few days before, before the camera is turned to the two main characters; in the background, near the boat on the upper right-hand part of the screen, you can see an object crashing into the water (the creature arrives).

I like Steve Martin too, although his films are hardly ever on TV these days.

Last movie at a cinema - 101 Dalmatians, the live version with Glenn Close. It was Ali's & my 2nd date, which shows you how often we go to the cinema as we've been married over 10 years!!

Last movie on DVD - Shrek 3. Not bad, but not as good as the first 2, but heavy on the moralising.

Last grown-up movie - ......um...... I'll have to get back to you on that one!

The only thing that made the movie interesting was the unique way it was shot. There were times when I think it would've moved more smooth had they not chosen this method....but it did made it different.

I wasn't happy with the ending....but I guess it wasn't supposed to be a happy ending anyway.
