We are Marshall is a great football film based on the true story of the tragic Marshall football team's plane crash and the subsequent rebuilding of the team - incredibly sad but a great film.

My wife and I went to see Iron Man over the weekend. I thought it was pretty good.
You might be a dog lover if...
There are more dog toys in your bed than people.
Enchanted ................ I only go to see pictures with my granchildren and this one was really sweet AWWWWWWW
I watched Finding Neverland online the other night. It was good. I can't believe I waited so many years before seeing it.
About the time I get on my high horse, Jesus comes riding in on a donkey.
Finally got to see:
The List, Based on the book by Robert Whitlow. a southern man returns home for his father's funeral and finds out that he will inherit nothing except his father's seat in a "secret society", who cons him out of the money due him. Throughout, he discovers the power the society has and the power of prayer that combats their power. It runs a little slow at the beginning, but the end was really good, especially when he confrots the society about their hold on his life.
also:
Vantage Point-with Dennis Quaid, about an assassination attempt on the president, during a counter-terrorism summit in Spain. The viewpoints of different people are seen as bits and pieces of the evil plot are uncovered. Very suspenseful and unpredictable to the end. I think there was some anti-war sentiment, though.
and:
Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns with Angela Basset as a struggling, single mother whose father dies and is left a run down house as her inheritance. Along the way she meets the family she never knew, and a wonderful man, who is helping her son go professional in his basketball career. If you have seen any of Tyler Perry's other movies this is more of the same combination of comedy and Spirituality he is famous for (and Madea makes an appearance, brief but funny).
The List is out now on DVD, the other two will be released on Tuesday.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

Another one due out today:
Bruce and Lloyd: Out of CONTROL, a direct-to-video companion to the new Get Smart movie in theaters. Bruce and Lloyd are CONTROL techies who have invented a cloth that can turn a person invisible, so when it turns up missing, the two set out to get it back. The movie takes place during the events of Get Smart (which I DID see when it came out, but didn't report) and even has a cameo from Anne Hathaway as Agent 99. This was a good movie, very funny, although a little short (71 minutes).

Went to see Hancock last night. It wasn't the best superhero movie I've seen, but it was O.K.
Will Smith plays a man with super powers, who does not use them wisely. Jason Bateman plays Ray, a Public Relations guy, who wants to help Hancock gain a more heroic image. And through the course of the movie, Hancock's past is revealed, and his purpose becomes clearer.
SpoilerIt is revealed that Hancock is thousands of years old and said to be a god or an angel and that Ray's wife is also the same as Hancock and that she was Hancock's wife, and if they stay in close proximity to each other, they become mortal and can die. So, in order to save both their lives, Hancock has to get far away from her.

I DID go to see the new Batman movie, "The Dark Knight". It was not as good as "Batman Begins". but was okay. A little too long, IMO.
Coming out on DVD tuesday:
"Wargames: The Dead Code" the sequel to "Wargames", with Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy. Dead Code picks up with R.I.P.L.E.Y., JOSHUA's (The super computer from the first movie) successor. RIPLEY is a supercomputer that can track and identify terrorist threats anywhere in the world, and deal with said threat. The terrorists are tracked through an online game that offers prize money to the winner then identifies certain characteristics of the player. So when, Will Farmer, a teenage computer hacker unknowingly, uses terrorist money to play the game, he is tagged as a threat and is pursued by RIPLEY and the FBI. Good movie. Rated PG-13 for some violence and language.
