| OK. We can start with a movie that will be released on DVD today. Bella. I got to see it before it was released (as I work at a video store) and I really liked it and recommend it. It's about a man named Jose, who through a tragic event, gives up his dream of playing professional soccer for Mexico, and works as a cook in his brother's restaurant. There, a waitress, Nina, whom the brother fires, is befriended by Jose, who has left his brother's restaurant in concern for Nina. She reveals that she is pregnant and plans to abort the baby. Jose becomes a good friend to Nina as they spend the day together, discussing many things, even the possibility of adoption. A good depiction of thinking of others above yourself, and the benefit of choosing life. (I'd give two thumbs up, but it seems there isn't any in the smilies) Varlyn (The VMan)

| I'll rent it over the weekend. Thanks for the thumbs up! Since you work for a video store....you probably can give us a good lead on a lot of great movies. I have a tendency to like war movies...which is so 'ungirly' of me. |
