It would make an interesting book for the coffee table. But, it would not have much value to read or study.
Has anyone used Matthew's Bible? Can anyone tell me anything about it? I saw it in a catalog:
Matthew's Bible, 1537 Edition--Hardcover: 9781598563498: Christianbook.com
I'm thinking it may come in use for me so I want to get it.

From the look of the Amazon page, I'd agree with Dan. The language is likely to be so archaic that it will be difficult to understand, and so not of much practical use.
I want different Bibles because I run into people who don't want to believe different texts and they proceed to tell me what it means because they want to say the Bible is mistranslated. So I have a list of different texts that all are translated the same way. In this way it is important to have a number of Bibles.
It would be interesting to have.
I often find it useful to have several translations of The Bible (King James, Good News, NIV etc) as I like to read the different styles of the text.
This looks interesting as I love History and any historical document especially one from the Tudor period would fascinate me!
I imagine the text would be in Middle/Tudor English?
