Default How do you worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness?

Psalm 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

How do you worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness? What is holy?

In very simple terms, holiness is being set apart for God, thinking, being and doing what is right, and not thinking / being / doing what is not right.

Sounds easy if you say it quickly enough!

In the dictionary I am looking at holy is defined as - free from sin; immaculate; consecrated; sacred

Consecrate is defined as - to appropriate to sacred uses; to dedicate to God

Sacred is defined as - set apart for a holy purpose; consecrated; religious; set apart to someone in honour; venerable

Immaculate is defined as -without spot; undefiled; pure

Jesus has set us free from sin
We have dedicated ourselves to God
God has set us apart for a holy purpose
When we reach heaven we will be - without spot, undefiled and pure

Does worship in holiness mean to worship in Jesus just where we are? If this is so then our worship will change as we are being changed into His likeness.
    God's promises never fail
