    Default the commandments of Jesus

    John 15:10
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Are they the same commandment, many Christians today believe we are still to follow the commandments, but which commandments are they, the commandments written on stone or the commandments written on our hearts

Is John 15 speaking about different commandments, When Jesus said keep my commandments even as I kept the Fathers commandments. To me it would seem we are talking about new commandments

Its the 10 commandments. Jesus talks about His commandment of love but that is exactly what the 10 commandments are, the first 4 tell us how to love our Father in Heaven and the last 6 tells us how to love our neighbours.
I think what is meant in John 13:34 A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another lifted the commandment from the OT to the NT from law to grace. BUT it does not do away with the original 10. In Mark Chapter 2 Jesus tells us that He is Lord of the Sabbath. If we were not intended to observe the commandments or He did away with them why would He say that? The Sabbath was an everlasting convenant, God never breaks His word or changes His mind.

the sabbath was explained by Jesus, and Jesus has been given power to change scripture by God.

If you can give me scriptual evidence of this I will then believe that Jesus did away with the 10 commandments including the 4th

37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38This is the first and great commandment.

39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

    self explanetry.

Wasn't Jesus new commandment that we love one another as He has loved us? I see no way in which this detracts from the OT commandments and Jesus said He didn't come to change the law but to fulfill it. If we love one another as Jesus has loved us then we would automatically keep the OT commandments, wouldn't we?
