The simple answer to the question about which of Jesus's commandments Christians should obey, is ..... all of them! A lot easier to say than to do, but that is what the Great Commission said:

Matt 28:19-20 - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

Wasn't Jesus new commandment that we love one another as He has loved us? I see no way in which this detracts from the OT commandments and Jesus said He didn't come to change the law but to fulfill it. If we love one another as Jesus has loved us then we would automatically keep the OT commandments, wouldn't we?
If we keep our eyes on Jesus, if we believe in Jesus, If we are truly saved, then we fulfill the law through our faith in Jesus

Jesus did not do away with the law, He fulfilled the law and when we keep our eyes and heart on him we fulfill the law. He fulfilled all of the law not just ceremonial laws, he fulfilled all of them

Does this mean because of grace I am free to sin? no! but I don't have to know the law written on stones, because the Holy Spirit has written his law on my heart. I know when I am sin because the Holy Spirit convicts me

In Mark Chapter 2 Jesus tells us that He is Lord of the Sabbath. If we were not intended to observe the commandments or He did away with them why would He say that? The Sabbath was an everlasting covenant, God never breaks His word or changes His mind.

If you can give me scriptural evidence of this I will then believe that Jesus did away with the 10 commandments including the 4th

Has Jesus fulfilled all the law, but one commandment, am I still required to follow the letter of this law? The Fourth commandment. The passover was a law that was required to be followed by all generations. Should we then still be observing the passover, or has Jesus become our passover and when we follow him we are fulfilling that law.

I believe it is the same with the Sabbath. Just as Jesus is our Passover, he is also our Sabbath. The Law pointed to Jesus, by following Jesus we fulfill the law. Jesus is our eternal rest, Jesus is our Sabbath and that is why I believe he is the Lord of The Sabbath. It is my opinion when our eyes and heart and mind are on Jesus we fulfill all of the law. Our rest is not a day ,but our savior. In him we have our rest.

Jesus is our rest but if we do not take any physical rest we do not have any quality time to spend with him. We are in constant communication with Him but I believe we also need time put aside just for Him with no other worries or thoughts on our minds. If we do not take physical rest this becomes impossible to do.

Any Jew listening to Jesus as he spoke would have understood the "Father's commandments" to be the law of the Old Testament. Jesus' criticism of the Pharisees was not that they carefully observed the law, but that they only followed the letter of the law and not the spirit of the law. God makes the same objection many times in the Old Testament.

The letter vs. the spirit of the law is illustrated in Jesus' observing of the Sabbath. The Pharisees criticized Jesus but he pointed out that the Sabbath was not made to be a burden on people, but to help people. He supported his statements by quoting the Old Testament. Jesus did not say that because of him, there no longer is a need to follow the commandment to keep the Sabbath.

The Apostle Paul also pointed out that he kept the Law. Paul also points out that the Law tells us the things that are sins. What confuses some people is Paul's explanation that through Jesus we are under no penalty for breaking the law. But, that is not an excuse to break the law.

When you are doing something in love and for God, it is keeping the spirit of the law.

What of Passover? As you say, Jesus is our Passover. He is the lamb that has been slain for us. To actually observe Passover with an animal sacrifice would be a rejection of the true passover sacrifice, a violation of the spirit of the law.

That is right. It is impossible to keep all the law. That law condemns by exposing our sins. But, as new creatures in Christ it is our desire to seek righteousness.
