Dear Gary52 , Do you believe in God and more importantly do you believe in Christ, I need to know before I answer your 3 questions honestlyas you asked them

Gary52, to answer at least one of your questions;
1. Satanists know they are going to Hell. ( people that worship the devil; they do exist)
2. I don't know of anyone in Bible, but Jesus may have met someone who fits the bill, just not been recorded in Bible.
3.God is the Perfect Judge, and this is out of our hands. He will judge the living and the dead, and so if someone hasn't heard about Jesus....God will judge fairly.
Someone I know asked on a Christianity course...."What happens to those who have never heard of Jesus?"The answer from the teacher was "Don't worry about them, worry about yourself."
You have heard, Gary, so this last question doesn't concern you personally.
Psalm 16:5-7
Friends are like stars ~ even when you can't see them they are still there.
Can't say I know anything about such people, but I would say that any person who knowingly wants to burn in agony for all eternity must be truly insane. Would God torture the insane?
If it is not recorded in the Bible, then there can be no comfirmation that anyone has gone to that fate.2. I don't know of anyone in Bible, but Jesus may have met someone who fits the bill, just not been recorded in Bible.
Many have heard of Jesus, but as you know many find it to be an unbelieveable story. What do you believe will be their fate.3.God is the Perfect Judge, and this is out of our hands. He will judge the living and the dead, and so if someone hasn't heard about Jesus....God will judge fairly.![]()
Why didn't the teacher give an answer?Someone I know asked on a Christianity course...."What happens to those who have never heard of Jesus?"The answer from the teacher was "Don't worry about them, worry about yourself."
There are many people that I love dearly, who believe the Jesus story is a man-made myth, therefore it does concern me.You have heard, Gary, so this last question doesn't concern you personally.
Gary, it is written that we are not called to say who will or will not go to heaven or hell, that is for the Lord to decide. I have been forgiven sins that deserve, according to scripture, the death penalty. Not only have I been forgiven them, but more than once, as I have sinned since my salvation. My experience of God, is one of love, he has freed me from life long bondage's, renewed a failing marriage, and given me the grace to take my eyes from myself enabling me to love others. I know that whatever he does will be just, loving and right.
John 3:16 (ANIV)
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
We would be lost without that gift. I for one, am not going to question that kind of love.
'Needs be we disagree that the truth may manifest'
Dear gary 52 , I will answer your qustions , just give me a little time
Demonic possession makes the sane insane....Read about the man possed by "Legion," in Mark 5...Also, take note that the man was chained in a cemetary, he was living with the dead because while in that state of possesion he was dead.Would God torture the insane?
The rich man who went to hell in Luke 16:19-31. He died in his sins. We are given a description of hell here. It does exists and people do go there if they die in their sins...If it is not recorded in the Bible, then there can be no comfirmation that anyone has gone to that fate.
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Many have heard of Jesus, but as you know many find it to be an unbelieveable story. What do you believe will be their fate.
There is a requirement here Gary52...Intellectual understanding verses Spiritual understanding...
The teacher was teaching on relationship. We are to develope a personal relationship with the Lord. We are to judge ourselves first before we can judge another person. Matthew 7:5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.Why didn't the teacher give an answer?
Then simply, that is the choice they have made...Read John 5:24 again, and read the answer to this question yourself. There are many people that I love dearly, who believe the Jesus story is a man-made myth, therefore it does concern me.
It is up to each individual to seek out a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. If you simply humble yourself before the Lord and seek HIM for the answers He will be faithful and just to answer you.
Shorty mentioned the story of the rich man and Lazarus, Luke 16:19-31 NIV . Jesus was giving us a glimpse of hell. Notice vs. 25:
Not that people who receive good things (from God) will go to hell, but those who have not been treated fairly will get to heaven. It is Jesus who will judge who goes where, Matthew 25:31-46 NIV . Notice vs. 46:"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'
Notice Jesus says they will go away to eternal "punishment", not torture (Parents punish, not torture, their kids for being bad). We all deserve punishment for our sins, but thanks be to God that we can be saved, and we CAN tell others that they too can be saved from punishment in hell. That's why He tells his disciples to "go into all the world and preach the gospel.", so no one would be lost."Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
One last thought from 2 Peter 3:9 NIV :
Varlyn (The VMan)The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
Titus 2:11-12
That has nothing to do with my question.... I asked if God tortured the insane.
Surely you realize that, The Rich man and Lazarus is a parable and not a literal event.... Futher more it s not a parable about the state of the dead... It is about two nations, the Jews and the Gentiles. The rich man who went to hell in Luke 16:19-31. He died in his sins. We are given a description of hell here. It does exists and people do go there if they die in their sins...
I once ran a poll about this parable. 75% of voters knew it was a parable, 25% thought it was literal.[/COLOR]
Does this mean that those who don't understand will not receive everlasting life?John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

What I see, is that the student asked a starightforward question and was given no answer. The teacher was teaching on relationship. We are to develope a personal relationship with the Lord.
Personally I think it best not to judge other people... not always though. We are to judge ourselves first before we can judge another person. Matthew 7:5Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
That maybe true, but not an easy thing to do in today's world. It is up to each individual to seek out a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
I know many different people belonging to diiferent denomination, that do just that, and yet still remain at odds as to who's truth is the real truth. If you simply humble yourself before the Lord and seek HIM for the answers He will be faithful and just to answer you.
