Default Is it the end of the world? Birth pains

WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, The Gulf War I and II, Afganistan, The tsunami in Malaysia, the stock market crash and global recession, the earthquake in Haiti, the earthquake in Chile and tsunami warning for Hawaii. Are these labor pains?

8.8 quake in Chili, wow, that is a shaker. Regardless of Haiti's toll, that was a relatively minor quake. In 1960, Chili had a 9.5 earthquake which is truly monstrous, causing massive Tsunamis across the whole pacific ocean, such as slamming Japan, 6000 miles away, with 35-foot waves. I do not believe earthquakes are getting worse.

There have always been wars. There are probably fewer wars today than there has been at any time in that last 4000 years. Read the Old Testament. It is a story of almost constant war, where even massive wars might only get a verse-or-two (e.g. the destruction of the kingdom of Israel).

The birth pains have been here for many years it is the final part of the labour we are waiting for and as any midwife will tell you, the last stage of labour is one of the quickest. This is why we are told to be vigilant and keep our eyes open and watch and wait, always being ready. We will not have any more warning than that we already have in the scriptures. He who has an ear let him hear.

I agree. It's my opinion we are hearing about them faster these days with news at the touch of a button and beamed into our homes in minutes which I think gives the impression they are on the increase.
Nothing seems to go on the world without the rest of the world knowing it, which wasn't the case even when I was a child.
Never be overwhelmed by decisions, just consider the right ones and your options will be far fewer.
