HE always was a liar ,long before he was prime minister he was a Roman Catholic in every practice such as attending regular mass ,and his children were brought up in their mothers religion ,but to fulfill his ambitions ,he did not declare and convert his religious beliefs until he resigned , because he knew if he declared his true colours and not lied then he would not have become prime minister

He now in the role of peace envoy to the middle east ,an oxymoron if ever there was one ,has the backing and the blessing of the Pope in Rome ,although I do not want to use that tern as he is neither my bishop or father as God says call no man your father .

So I would not be at all surprised that this false and deceitful man does have further plans for his political career

On the point of denominations, do you think like me Onesie, that it " does " matter what each leader believes ?

I've heard some people say it matters not what religious persuasion they are and thats something that personal to them.
Some even going so far as to suggest their private lives are nothing to do with them being leader.
    What poppycock !!

What if in their private lives they have cheated on their wife ? To cheat on your wife takes a lot of lies and it would definately sway my vote.
Sway me into thinking " if he'll lie to his wife, he'll think nothing of lying to me and if someone is going to be in a position of power where he can make decisions that will effect my life then I'm not voting for a prooven liar "

I cannot comment on other countries ,but Britain is a protestant nation ,founded theologically by Henry 8th and up to this point in time has a ruler who is the "defender of the faith"and that faith is not "Roman Catholicism ".

Many countries such as the USA do not have this history but we are more aligned spiritually with the countries north of the Rhine ,as the roman state/religion did not have a foothold there

So yes if this country is founded on anglicanism and if our king/queen is defender of the anglican faith ,then to have a prime minister who historically and religiously is a sworn enemy of that faith which even today within its catechism declares it so ,then how can he/she take up that office .

With regard to sin ,in what respect are you discussing it ,because in the natural then yes his private life is one of importance ,because it shows the adamic man ,but spiritually a sin is a sin is a sin ,GOd does not differentiate ,a white lie or pride and self righteousness is as wrong as murder or rape ,because Gods lawsare perfect ,and his solution is perfect ,but all men with no exceptions are and were imperfect ,that is why CHrist Jesus died for our redemption .

answer above #13,same applies , nothing to do with the fact of being Muslim ,more a fact of not being protestant

I think it should become compulsory for all Politicians to declare what faith they are. I know they have to swear alliegience to the Queen but in the case of a Muslim ( of whom there must be many in British Parliament ), seems rather hypocritical to me to swear alliegence to a head of state who is also head of the Church of England when Islam has no notion of separating church and state.

Once again ,fully agree , I cannot ever imagine a time when a protestant will be appointed pope or even included in the majesterium ,neither can I envisage a time when a christian will be the head of any islamic state

It's been good to read all these posts.....I agree with onesi......although tony liar (my name for him not a typo) was protestant and then married a Roman Catholic he did not become a fully fledged Catholic until after he gave up the PM job.... I think this now suits him as he thinks he'll get more votes being a Catholic..... I also agree that he would become a Muslim if it got him power. He's not interested in God he wants to be god.

As I was thinking does he have any Jew roots in his Tree? But as you read the bible the false prophet is the second beast so the anti comes then his side kick comes after. As obama and blair they are just runners and smooth the road for the real deal.
