he could and will no man knows the day or hour. if memory serves right at one point he says but the end is not YET! when yet is i dunno.Is Jesus Coming Soon?
Matthew 25

Level 2 According to the Bible, we have to live our lives like Jesus is coming soon (whether He is or not). Here are a few scriptures:
Luke 21: 34 Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with dissipation, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come upon all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be ALWAYS on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 Now brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, Peace and safety, destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
Consider HIM who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lost heart.

I did some research on the internet about the signs of the end as Jesus stated. eg earthquakes, famine, pestilence, wars etc. There has been a dramitic increase in all of these in the last century and the increase continues. It could be anytime
If we disagree , at least one of us is wrong!
Level 4 Gibby, you are on the right track. We only need to understand Matthew 24, to know that time is short. I suspect things of this world to get much worse in the days ahead. We can rest assured that the LORD knows HIS CHILDREN, and will watch over us, even through these dark days. JESUS remains the LIGHT of the WORLD. Praying the WORLD will turn to HIM, before it is too late.
Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
