A high ranking Israeli brought the situation into perspective yesterday, when he revealed that Israel have enough nuclear power to turn Iran into a nuclear wasteland for thousands of years and even the president of Iran cannot be stupid enough to bring that about. But when you look into his eyes... mmmmm

The reason Iran thinks it is in the winning role is because they have strong trade and alliances with both Russia and China.

I don't live my life looking for an end time prophecy in news because I don't want to get goofy on myself, but I do think it's probably a good time to start looking at Ezekiel's prophecy 2,600 years ago that in the latter times Israel would be furiously invaded by a people "out of the north parts" (Ezek. 38:6, 15). In Ezekiel 38:2-3; 39:1:

A madman called Gog by Ezekiel will be the end-time leader of Russia (38:2). A host of allies will join this leader when he invades the land of Israel (Ezek. 38:9). Eight other geographical locations are mentioned in Ezekiel 38:1-6: Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Togarmath (Turkey); Magog (Central Asia; Islamic southern republics of the former Soviet Union); Persia (Iran); Ethiopia or Cush (Sudan); and Libya.

The tricky part to this is it was to occur during a time of prosperity and peace in Israel. Israel isn't at peace...so I really don't know. WHOEVER does negotiate a peace treaty between these countries, which will be broken later, is to be strongly considered the antichrist. So, we have to watch the events unfold with our deep attention.

I suffered great personal loss in the Iraq war. I also have a son who will be 17 and getting close to military age. I can do one of two things:

I can either worry in the flesh because the handwriting is on the wall.
    or
I can rejoice in the spirit because the end gets nearer every day.

It wouldn't be so bad if we could actually go in there and have a real war instead of playing politics. We could take care of it in an afternoon...........but we keep tippy-toeing around trying not to offend the world.

I don't have a problem with Iran having a nuclear weapon for self defence, it is a sovereign nation with an elected government. If the American government threatens millions of Iranian people with Nuclear attack then Iran has a right to defend itself. You have insane Congressmen openly saying " Nuke em ". They really do want to kill millions of people.

Why threaten a nation that has not attacked America, who cares if they have a nuclear weapon, America faced down the USSR, which had 40,000 nuclear weapons.

Iran is not another Iraq cake walk, Iran has an enormous defence capability now, with advanced Russian equipment, it would be a very very big mistake to attack Iran. Iran has a fully integrated air defence system capable of destroying even stealth aircraft Iran would truly be the land of leaping Humvee.

America shouldn't be in Iraq or 130 other nations with all their military power. One thing is, it is sending America broke, One Trillion a year is getting spent on foreign soil. That money should be spent in America, by bringing all the troops home. Imagine an extra trillion dollars a year getting pumped back into the domestic economy.
They could bring home 530,000 defence personel to defend Americas borders.
Anyone can walk across Americas southern or northern borders, its a bit strange considering there is supposed to be a war on terror, and the government hasn't bothered to secure the borders.

America is way to weak to attack Iran, the military is spent just policing Iraq. Its time to save American lives, come home, live in peace and defend the borders. If some nation is then stupid enough to attack America, then America has the right to smite.

If America consentrates on its domestic issues and stays within its borders it will recover its strength, its pride, and the respect all nations.

Right now the defence assessment says that America is so weak militarily and economically that it is coming to the end of its dominance, and will soon collapse. That would be a disaster, and is in no ones interests.

America is making the exact same mistake as the Roman Empire, and the Empire will contract either by choice or by collapse.

If by this some might infer that I am anti American they would be wrong, I'm pro America, infact I would be a Conservative Republican Constitutionalist, if I lived in America.

I would welcome you into the esteemed 'Pachyderm Club'.

It is always better to fight any war overseas than to let it progress into our own back yard. The President's job is to keep America safe at all cost. So, I don't have a problem with going to war with a mission. I have a problem with after the mission is accomplished we play do-gooder and stick around for decades trying to fix things. If the UN wasn't worthless....this is supposed to be THEIR job....not ours.

It wouldn't matter to you if I was a Ron Paul Republican, would it. Being ultra constitutional and all.

I love the American Constitution, any people that can eat a super sized burger and fries, must have an incredible constitution.

People just don't get it, but you hit the nail right on the head.
