Amen.
I went to my town centre today, and it was frankly depressing.
So many depressed, burdened people walking around.
I know sometimes we christians have it bad, and can too have financial problems but my heart went out to the people and families who don't even have this Light in their lives. No Light at the end of the tunnel, just daily struggles to make ends meet and try and improve their lives.
Please join me in prayer for the many people around the world, many of them in our towns and cities who are depressed and despairing due to lack of money and hope.
Pray that the church would offer them real hope.
Pray that they would seek God in the midst of their busy lives.
Pray that they would recognise that money will not bring true happiness.
Pray that they would love and respect those in their households during this economic crisis, and please God, not turn their anger and frustration out on their families or themselves.
I also pray for those people and systems that are in place to help, ie social services, police, council advisors. That God would help and strengthen them.
These are dark days, when many hearts will grow cold. We need to stand together to pray against this.
Pray that they would seek out help such as independant agencies who can help them get training for jobs.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.

Psalm 16:5-7
Friends are like stars ~ even when you can't see them they are still there.
Amen.
Never be overwhelmed by decisions, just consider the right ones and your options will be far fewer.

Praying. We are dealing with some family that is relocating. No work, where they were. Our home is small, but we manage.
Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
