Update from my daughter:
Lilly, his mom is holding up the best that she can, right now. She is taking it one day at a time. Thanks for asking.Dear Fellowship,
I thank you all in your prayers and ask for some extra deep prayers from you all. Junior is at the moment sick. It is very hard for him to fight infection a normal cold for people with cancer is deadly the lukemia cells spread so much that white and red blood cells have no room to grow along with platlets ( these are the cells in our blood that help wounds by forming themselves together to make scabs). There is hope that he will get over this infection. They sent Jr home this past friday, only because he is eating well. He is however, taking 20 meds that he starts taking at 6 am all the way through til 8pm. Antibiotics and others are a part of this phamacy. During the last 2 weeks (back in the Hospital) JR has started losing his hair. His mother decided to go ahead and shave off his beautiful curls. All of the children and people fighting these cells which have no use but to take up space we need in our bodies to survive are very fortunate to have these Doctors that God has provided for them but are also enduring a harder test of life the the majority of us can understand. The families are affected and so are the surrounding friends and acuantances. The suffering the all face is horrorfying, and you don't truly understand until it hits home. God knows the torment these individuals go throgh and To pray Deep and hard, as if we were actually in their place and knowing what your family would do and how they would react to such circumstances. Let God know you really and truly feel for your fellow brothers and siters fighting for the gift of life bestowed upon them by the one true God. I thank you again and love you all for being where you are needed at the time you are needed. Amen
