    Well, the swine flu (H1N1 virus) is now in the U.S. There is a local person here that just returned from Mexico and is ill. They think it may be swine flu and they are testing this person. Will get the results back soon. 2 of our neighboring states have confirmed cases. Not good...

    Heard on the news gibby. A baby in Texas has died with it ! I pray that is the only one!

    The couple in Scotland who have come back from Mexico have the Swine Flu they live in a town 9 miles from here and were in our Local Hospital.

    The puzzling thing about this flu is, why are people dying in Mexico? Poor health care? This toddler is only the first death here. What is troubling about this flu is the unknown, I suppose. They keep spitting out a statistic that about 35,000 people die annually in the U.S. from regular flu seasons so it does not seem to be a deadly strain here...yet?
