I don't believe He is done with you here yet, Pariah. Be faithful in what He has for you to do. (I am preaching to myself too!)
I do have His peace as He is helping me through this valley of death.
Maybe my desire to leave this world is nothing more but Him giving me the desire to leave and having none to stay.
My persecutors are too strong for me. My invisible prison is always with me. These Psalms tell the story.
Psalm 142
1I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication.
2I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.
3When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.
4I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.
5I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.
6Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
7Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
Psalm 35
1Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
2Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
3Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
4Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
5Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
6Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
7For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.
8Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
9And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
10All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
11False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
12They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
13But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
14I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother.
15But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
16With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
17Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
18I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.
19Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
20For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
21Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.
22This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
23Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
24Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
25Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
26Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
27Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
28And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.
So in this, I ask the Lord for deliverance as I trust Him in keeping me.
1 Peter 4: 12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 14If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. 15But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 16Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Pariah,
Proverbs 3:11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:12 For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
I was reading Proverbs 3 today and I thought that I share with you this verse for you to claim. Should the Lord allow trials and sickness, let us not forget that it is for our good. We must not give up under an affliction. Let it be it be tough and long. Let us not be driven to despair, or even think of using wrong means for relief. The father corrects the son whom He loves, because He loves him, and desires that he may be wise and good. Afflictions are far from doing God's children any hurt. And according to His divine plan and by the grace of God, will eventually promote holiness and peace.

Ooooooooo that's a tough one, all this is for ' my ' good,,,, ew, tis a really tough one !
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. ....................
canny, would you 'spare the rod' as the saying goes and spoil a loved one? No never we will use any possible way to see that our loved ones turn out to be a good person. Its like God himself said, refining in fire. The more you refine gold the better its quality.
I know we all love an easy way or an easy access to anything in life, but is life so easy and accepts any wayward ways. No, when we make bad choices we suffer don't we?
I think its out of love only canny. what do you think?

Hi gibby,
We shall soon see. He has helped me this far, and shall continue to help me, but I am seeing why the rapture has to come. People think it is an easy way out.. an escape from hardship. I say it is to correct those that have gone astray.
Still, I shall wait on the Lord. His peace shall reign over me when all that has been done to me should have sent me over the edge, but it hasn't because He is with me. Amen.
Thanks for the encouragement though.![]()

Thanks, JIP!
Thanks for the words of encouragement.
My older brother has returned, much to my discontent towards my parents for doing so as I see all of this as a ruse to get the money to get crack and now bumming off of my folks to next payday. Jesus taught excommunication. He admitted again that he used the money for the rent to buy crack.
All I can do is hope My Heavenly Father sends that parole officer around to get him arrested and thereby denying him access to that which is destroying him and may even kill him. But I know it is the Lord that needs to deliver him unto Himself. My brother needs Him. As do I, always. I may not be an alcoholic or a drug abuser, but I will always need the Lord to not to lust after the flesh or desire a wife because my persecutors are that powerful and meddling to prevent me from ever having a relationship... even a friend.
That is why I am thankful for what friends in Christ online that I have, but in truth, a screen typing words don't really have that kind of fellowship as in real life, but because of my invisible prison, I shall be content and thankful that the Lord is with me always.
Thanks to you and to gibby, you have been a regular brothers in Christ in here for me. Mayhap the Lord shall rise up more regulars companions in here, but I am grateful for the two brothers I have for encouragement and edification. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Amen.
Hi canny,
Yes. Like Joseph sold into slavery by his own brothers. Everything worked to the good.
I understand this, but my future is going dark. Mayhap the necessity for the Light of Christ to shine forth at His appearing.
Hi JIP,
I agree. Although one must consider that to suffer, it does not always mean because of wrongdoings on our part, but to be partakers of His sufferings to His glory in that we may know Him as we walk through this difficult time.
But yes, I can see what you are saying as it would apply to those left behind at the rapture event as judgment falls on the House of God.
Thanks, JIP!
