Life Could be Worse, But Still Not Much of a Purpose

Hi Everyone

I regularly pray to God but I know that there are times that I need prayers said for me from others.
Many don't know this but I have been fighting depression on and off.
Today has felt like one of the depressing days.

I'll explain the reasons I get this way. Well you see I'm originally from California and have lived there most of my life.
Now I have lived here in Illinois almost 3 years this year. I have a few friends back in California plus my family.
They are all about 2000 miles away from me now. Since I have lived here in Illinois I really haven't made any friends.
One of the biggest factors could be that I became blind in 2006. People in general think that I am different and stare at me
and don't approach me.

Whenever Sweetrainbow (Anna) goes anywhere with her sister and brother I don't get to go.
They and her Dad don't care too much for me.

Now at the current time Anna's parents are slowly passing away and my Grampa most likely has developed Alzheimer.
When my sisters kids were younger they were closer to me and they would look up to me.
Now that they are older they have grown away from me and into their own worlds.

The regular contacts that I have on my e-mail list at home haven't been writing me for the last couple of months.
I have been trying to make friends at Christian forums but I am told by most that their lives are really busy
and they don't have time to write. And most that have written are just a few sentences, it's like reading a quick memo.
I thought it would be easier to make friends at forums but that isn't the case. Some say they care for me
but on the other hand have nothing to do with me.

And the last thing is I was supposed to be covered for my medications but as it turned out I am fully covered with one, the second
needs to be for fully and the last there is a big mess with it now.
I now maybe need to use half my pay for the month and not much to save for a trip to see my family and friends back in California.
Basically I live in the room most of the time.


So I ask you to pray in the name of Jesus about these things. I know my life could be worse but on the other hand
it doesn't seem to have much purpose.

All prayers would be appreciated.

I've been through so many of these bouts of depression with him but sometimes it's harder then others when
the down side of bipolar is in motion with me.
He doesn't realize how much harder for me it gets. Believe me when I say that I know he can't help it and
I'm not saying that I'm not there for him.
Quite the opposite. In fact I wish that I could help everyone here and take away things that
might plague them so that it would be a much better day for all.

Dear Lord

I come to you today for my best friend here on Earth Trebor. You know the amount of love I have for him.
You know that I can only try my best to solve what bothers him. Sometimes it is not good enough. Sometimes it seems to others that all he is doing is complaining, but depression is a real true ailment.

You know his heart and what ail him from day to day. I may not be able to help with all his problems but I know that you can can not only solve his ailments but whoever ails all at one time.
Your love, mercy and grace knows no bounds.

So I pray to you with all my heart please I pray solve what ails my best friend that I LOVE so much.
He has been through so many of lifes hurts for so many years of his life.
If you need to use me to help him please put me on the right path to do so.
Please show him your LOVE, Grace and Mercy if it's in your will.

I leave this in your hands.
This I pray to you oh Lord in Jesus name.

GOD is with you. HE is your STRENGTH, when you are weakest. HE gives you a SOUND MIND, and HE HEALS whatever ails you. TRUST HIM, even when you don't feel you can hold on much longer. HE will CARRY you THROUGH the STORM.
