    Hello Robert,
What you are going through is what many or most go through. It is during these moments of life and moments of bouts with our faith that perseverance becomes the key word. Keep within the vision that God's Will, will prevail. Don't fight Gods Will. Embrace it.

I would like to encourage you but am not sure if I know how. But I guess the best is to show a few Words in the bible. As we draw closer to the time of the threshing floor, we are going to face these moments that you are experiencing more and more.Do not to get anxious over the trying of your faith(James 1:3). For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28).

Therefore, don't give up. Keep doing the good things you were doing in church, fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses (1Tim 6:12)

    So be encouraged greatly!
For God has a plan and He knows the thoughts that He thinks toward you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jer 29:11), so that the trial of your faith (being much more precious than that of gold that perishes, but being proven through fire).

In all truthfulness I wrote this to myself for I was in need of some encouragement and I thought why keep this to myself for there are probably others who might need this very Word for the tough times they are going through, for we are not to be alone in the battles we fight and it is through prayer and supplication that we stand together! Please remember that I am with you in prayer, mentioning your name always before the throne of God.May the God of peace Himself sanctify you, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blamelessly at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1Th 5:23).

    Thank You Jip:
You said you did not know what to say, well just responding and all the scripture you wrote is very uplifting. It's like God told Elijah when he was down " you are not alone I have 7000 more just like you" you sound like a person with compassion for others, that is a special gift. God Bless You! Rob. Anytime you feel the need for prayer or someone to unload you problems on I'm more than willing to listen. Maybe you won't believe me but as I wright this God is talking to my heart and saying we should not worry this valley time is coming to and end soon. In Jesus Name Robert

Well Rob we are to encourage one another in fellowship, praise and prayer. Its a duty set out unto us. Thank God if a motion has been set out between us too. I pray that it will only be spiritually rewarding to both of us.

Now from your reply I have noticed two aspects that I wish to speak with you and with people who have the same experiences. Unfortunately nomatter how hard I tried I it was a no-show for me. I am talking about hearing God's voice and listening in the Spirit, praying in the Spirit.

Since this is another topic, I will start this discussion in another thread under Evangelize. Please read what I have to say and let's hope you can throw some light to me.

    Hi Robert,

It is so cool you mentioned Elijah, he too was believed to be suffering a mental breakdown at this time. The Lord gave me Jeremiah a number of Years ago and Isaiah 43 which I found uplifting in times of real trouble.
What I like about Elijah is how God in his complete care of him bringing him food via the birds and drink restores him physically and spiritually. Then when well he goes and faces Israels enemies and the false God baal. Two altars of wood built and one drenched in water for yhwh and the false gods' priest all stood waiting for something to happen. I am sure you know the ending where fire comes and burns the true Gods sacrifice even drenched with water.

I find that scripture is uplifting in times of need. I hope your feeling better.
Have you a diagnosis? Not prying but I do have alot of knowledge of mental illness and depression. I have seen its worst moments and the high moments it can bring. The Lord is always with you and he loves you.
    Psalm 34: 4-10.
4.I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

5.They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

6.This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

7.The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

8.O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

9.O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10.The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

    Psalm 27:1 & 13-14.
1.The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

13.I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

14.Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

I hope you will find reassurance and comfort in the above verses.

I know people have been praying for me STILL and I certainly appreciate those prayers!

I didn't get a chance to tell anyone I have been very busy but I was asked to preach again by our Pastor this past week at our home church last night (Sunday 1-20-08) AND SO right now....

I just want to give a great big HALLELUJAH PRAISE to the KING of kings and LORD of lords Jesus Christ!

I have to say without a doubt that God definitely showed up and he MOST definitely showed out BIG time at Healing Streams!

The anointing was very strong, our Pastor arrived early and began to pray and when my wife Debbie and I got there the presence of God was absolutely overwhelming, and the area where I stood to minister was like a raging river of the anointing of the Holy Spirit!

The title of what I am confident was an on time word from God was:

    'Conceivers, Believers, Receivers and Achievers"

Conceive means to become pregnant and I believe God wants his people to become pregnant with his purposes.

Believe means to accept anything as accurate, undeniable and unchanging.

God wants Christians to begin again to take a personal stand of firm unwavering unshakeable faith in HIS eternal covenant of absolute unchanging undeniable everlasting truth!

Receive means to accept anything, to take possession of, to acquire.

God wants us to readily accept HIS love and his gift of unlimmitted compassion. God wants us all to take full possession of our FULL covenant rights and privileges as KINGS kids and joint heirs with Christ Jesus

Acheive means to accomplish, to complete or to fulfill.

And God certainly wants all Christians to be certain that we have won the victory and we can always walk in total victory every minute of everyday, and we can fully accomplish anythinig God calls us to accomplish.

And we CAN certainly do all things through Christ who gives us our strength!

I give GOD all the praise honor and glory, I can do nothing of myself, he said not by power or by might but by my Spirit!

God used me to minister to different individuals and afterward we went to a local cafe to eat (ain't that just like us FullGospeBapticostals?) and one of the ladies God had ministered to through me, said that she had been talking to one of her friends about the very thing I had said to her!

And the same lady and our Pastor said that the word God had spoken through me to another lady who was there was also a right on target word for her as well!

BUT that shouldn't surprise me, that's JUST exactly the way our God operates, always right on time, and always right all the time!

BTW Robert sorry I haven't replied to your request but I have been praying for ya Bro!

...And then he said to them all: Go everywhere and preach the Gospel to everyone... Mark 16:15
