Here is a photo of my work K-9. His name is Radar and he is a 2.5 year old border collie. I got him when he was just a little puppy. I trained him in narcotics detection and man trailing. To date, we have made several significant narcotics finds, the last one being 1.5 pounds of marijuana last Friday.

Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. ....................
This is my new puppy Charlie. He is a cavalier king charles spaniel now 12 weeks old. He chews everything, eats everything in sight, wines and poos around the whole house but we love him anyway![]()
Ha HA!! Puppies are quite the handful. My advice is stay consistent in their training and don't give up on em' when they drive you absolutely insane!

Is Radar allowed to live at home? And when the dogs come up to you at an airport etc my natural instinct is to talk to the dog, but is this not liked by the handler, does it put the dog off his task?
I watched a documentary of the training of dogs for narcotics detection and they did it with a towel that was impregnated with the smell, it was a game for the dogs. Is this how Radar was trained?
Radar does come home with me and the scented towel method is how I trained him from puppyhood.![]()
