This is one beautiful dog and a great help to society.
Robert.
That spaniel is as cute as a button!I like that breed.
I knew someone who had one, and they had to (gently) clip his ears back on top of his head with a clothes peg when he ate; so his ears wouldn't get dirty and wet in his food bowl!

Friends are like stars ~ even when you can't see them they are still there.
aw, that conjours up such a lovely picture lol.
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. ....................
Gibby, I envy you- working K-9.
About a year ago I was driving out in the country when my car broke down.
A k-9 officer happened upon me and (Against the rules) gave me a lift to the gas station several miles down the road to get assistance.
Now, he casually told me to get in the car and I was thinking like any guy would- get in the back right? So I opened the back door and was greeted by a large German Shepard- tail wagging. I'm a dog lover so I did the only logical thing.
Put up a hand got sniffed- and started scratching.
Puppy got out a few licks too before the poor K-9 officer realized what was going on. He went into conniptions.
He told me how dangerous the dog was and that he could bite me any moment. Closed the door and opened the front.
Oops. I got in. The officer warned me not to lean my head too far back- the dog just might try to bite me through the grate. I nodded agreement and glanced at the wagging tail.
Got in several scratches and licks before reaching the gas station.
Of course, the office was right. These dogs are highly trained. And a public citizen must be wary around one (Lawsuits?)
All the same- Kindred Spirit. I made a friend with a Police officer that day who wears his badge on his collar.
Below- Baby boy and a puppy.
