Thanks for the update, I just wish 40 weeks was not so long, I am excited

When we are sat in our rocking chairs putting the world to rights and we are old and grey and smoking our pipes and this little one is getting married, I will say to you through ya ear trumpet when you go,,, " WHAT YOU SAAAAAAAY JAYNOOOOOOOO ",,, I will reply,,,,,

" REMEMBER WHEN YOU SAID 40 WEEKS WAS SOOOOOOOOO LONG,,,, AND, PUT YA BATTERIES IN WOMAN ! "

Morning all, well still no ciggies, still relatively sane, still got morning sickness so tis all good...and finally, tomorrow morning is the scan, so buzzing, im about 12 1/2 weeks now until scan tells me different, just lil update

ohh im gonna be busy with build up to this one being born, cos they classing me as 'high risk' i have to have extra appointments and it has to be consultant led rather than midwife led...so far i have

appointment in a month at 16 weeks with consultant checking out old caesarean scar etc...

20 weeks to have my next scan which is for Dec 22nd, this is when might find out if girl or boy

25 week for sommat else cant remember now

28 weeks i have to do this fasting blood test thing and be in half a day, testing for diabetes thing

amongst all these, i have an appointment coming for the anaesthatist cos of complications with first c section..( the general anaesthetic didnt work, i was 'aware' could feel and hear everything, but couldnt move or speak to tell em so ) ....

then i have to have some ante natal classes...work are sooo gonna luv me

Your always in our prayers and I'm sure that Master/Miss Bump will be fine and healthy. A friend of our has had all of her 5 boys by C-section if the anesthetic don't would would they consider an epidural I had that with my first and your aware of everything but have no feeling. A bit like getting a tooth pulled

Ya know what Rach, I have seen many babies coming into the world but it still gets me everytime.
Working in the health service, it's an occupational hazzard that you just get used to things but for me, the whole conception, the developement, the birth always gets this lil ole brain ticking overtime, just the amazing wonder of it all.
Far to many people just take all this for granted, they don't really think about how amazing it all is and as professionally as I always did my job, this never failed to get me. It just amazes me.
Whenever I heard that first cry, the lump in the throat would come, eyes filled up with a thought of,,, " Like, WOWNESS, new life. Another little miracle "
I'm filling up now just thinking about it and looking at those pics

I was the first to hold Skylar after Luke and Nicki and when he handed her to me with the words " say hello to your Nanny Skylar ", she flipping disappeared, I couldn't see her I was crying so much and I couldn't speak for nearly 30 minutes

Oh Rach, don't be anywhere near me when you go into labour, I'd be no good to you, you'd have to see to me
