We got a date for baby being born May 6th...so if i dont go into labour before then, then thats gonna be date she be here by c section.

Lampstand Senior Member I've got what im hoping to be my last scan on monday, growth scan, even tho i found out right at the beginning ie 28 days, this pregnancy seems to have gone soo fast compared to my young un 12 yrs ago, probably all appointments, just wanted to thank all of you's for your support last few months, been a rollercoaster, getting there now...dont we sometimes wish we could rewind things, but then we wouldnt be the people we are today if we did that kind of thing would we. Im on my countdown at work now, hoping to work another 6 weeks, finishing 6 weeks tomorrow, to maximise time with baby afterwards, so just hope can last out that long

Lampstand Senior Member Didnt realise i had left it this long since i last posted on this thread...
That scan went really well, they estimating baby as over 8lb which will be good start for her when she gets here.
I didnt quite last out the 6 weeks i hoped for in my above post, i lasted 5, i finished this friday just gone. I was just so tired with work, and then it is quite painful for me now aswell, my ankles have started swelling stupid too, all to be expected at my age im sure
We are booked in for the Caesarean now, for 6th May which is next thursday....and gosh to be able to say next week now, scary, saying that i may go into labour yet before, with pains i was feeling last night, i was paranoid i was in labour!
The Cleft nurse also came on friday, was here for good couple of hours, she was like yadda yadda for ages, talking about feeding, expressing, how to deal with people reacting, etc etc, then was like so ya got any questions? umm no, day after im like what did she say?!? sieve head memory i got....thats bout it really update, cant think of anything else, other than the dog playing with the balloon she half blew up to 'demo' the pump they have let us use, she had hours of fun with it
