We're having plenty of sun to make the tomatoes grow.

This sounds like another of your parables Farouk. We have plenty of Son-shine to make His garden grow and produce fruit.

My literal tomatos are growing well but none are turning color yet. I did buy my first "home-grown" tomato this morning along with the best corn in the world....Silver Queen. Yum!

I think my tomato plants are drowning not sun bathing.

They are poking their little arms out of the ground and waving for help.

I planted 4 tomato plants this year but I can't remember what they are called. All I know is that they are supposed to mature sooner than most other varieties. I love garden fresh tomatoes.

How have they done in the end Canny. Out tomatos have been hopeless this year and the cucumbers have done about as well. The plum tree only delivered 3 plums - fortunately our neighbours plum tree did very well and they let us take all the fruit which overhangs our garden. The sprouts and cabbage are doing really well but that is the only thing veggie wise. The sage has grown like a triffid too and the herbs generally have done well but the only fruit we have had any joy with has been the raspberries, we have had two crops off them - one in the early summer and now a second, which is proving to better than the first! Even the rhubarb has not been up to its usual heavy crop, we have had sufficient for our own needs, it just means we have not had as much to give away this year.

Pretty poor, I have a load of weeny green tomatoes and the bush is dying off now. The chillies were the same, 7 chillies that is all that appeared, I am glad I do not have to rely on my bounty this year !
