    Default Biased Christian media?

Have you noticed something about the Christian news feeds? There are lots of stories complaining about Obama's repeal of the Mexico Law, but ......

As far as I can see, there has not yet been one about his ordering the closure of Guantanamo Bay. That prison, where the US have held people for years without charge, without trial, without legal representation, in complete contravention of international law, is finally going to close.

Also as far as I can see, there has not yet been one about his ordering the end of systematic torture of suspects by the CIA.

As Christians we should be rejoicing that these two abominations are ending - and yet the Christian media doesn't even mention these positive steps that Obama has taken, preferring only to focus on the negative. Talk about bias!

Would that our government would start to face up to alternative energy, bio fuel cars, etc. Someone claimed that if everyone was to recycle their waste food it could supply 50% of our domestic gas needs. The UK also has strong coastal tides and an abundance of wind that could be harnessed to supply power, but all this falls on deaf ears, as does the fact that as our workers lose their jobs to the credit crunch, any jobs that are going are being taken by foreign workers. As well as all this, our bankers are syphoning off millions of pounds in bonuses, from money that the British tax payer has ploughed into the banking system to strengthen it. I am so glad that I belong to a different realm.

Some people are ignorant of the facts around Guantanamo. (Or choose to look the other way)That is why it has not been covered by the media IMO.

This was 2 years ago!! ^

Bring charges or release. These men have not had a trial ,at all, in more than 5 years.

Hopefully now Obama is in the Whitehouse America will get its finger out and sort out Guantanamo once and for all, it has been a total disgrace that such human rights violations should have been permitted.

Obama is going to have his work cut out trying to undo the work of Bush and his cohorts, which have plunged the US into ignominy in the last eight years!
