Who here would admit to being Racially Prejudiced?

I once had a student borne in the U.K.. He said once; when sweating heavily, to another lecturer in answer to a question about working hard, ''that not sweat that's Chocolate''.

He suffered a very telling shock when he went out to work & found that he was treated as many blacks are or were at that time 30 yrs ago.

At collage it wasn't noticed by most of us as he had a purely Southern UK accent.

Many thing prompt a negative response in us.
Smell just think about those who do who are they part of a group, did you know some who did in the past.?
Beards because someone with one, is imprinted in you memory for one reason or another.
National History backed up by further poor experiences of some of a Country's nationals. Small mindedness on my part not looking at a race in it's entirety because of some effect on my feelings.
How about how different people pray in your presence ? Some totally silent, some very freely with no thinking time, some are just read out !!!!! Have you been there.?
What about those funny Christians who wave their hands in the air? & on & on & on.

Well I do raise my hands during worship at our church as do others but it is my way of praising God I love him so much I'm not trying to cause people to put their eyes on me but to understand the love I have for Jesus and How he has changed me from the inside out. I really can't put it in words. He's my all and all.

As far as racially prejudice it's a big subject now with President Obama.
When someone says somethine negative about His programs, His supporters say it is just a sign of not liking him because He's black.

I can't stand it when people use that as an excuse.

I can't stand what the President is doing to our troops in Afganistan when he was told by the General that they need 40,000 more troops to complete the Mission that President Obama sent this General to do.
We should support our troops with everything they need.
It was said today that one oppotion would be to bring the troops home, that sent a message to the terrorist that we are weak and they are building up their forces to invade the military forces, the terriost have now built up their forces to 12,000 men. Sure our forces could win a big battle but at the cost of many of our men's lives.

I feel if that happens then President Obama should go to the people here and give them the message that their loved one was killed. My negative feelings towards President Obama does not have anything to do with the fact He is Black.

I should sometime tell people how my family was treated by some people in Texas.

I guess you forgot about Vietnam.
I agree we would win a battle against the terrorist and they would lose many people, but at a high cost to our military,
To me if the General over there says we need more troops then send them. And the cost of lives for our military would be much lower, if you have or had family on the front line I think you would feel different.
