Oh great. We will have the left hand of government pushing global warming policy and the right hand of government pushing global cooling policy.
Col 2:8 -10 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
I still err on the side of global warming. Not because of anything the scientists or Politians say but because of what i have observed over the years.
Steve, do you remember the days when we actually had proper seasons ?
Oh I know we still have what they call, Spring, Summer, Autumn and winter but seasons that we could rely on.
Anyone under about the age of 35 will probably not know what I mean but once upon a time, we knew without a doubt, such things as, it would be cold in the winter, hot in summer. You could even rely on old wives sayings such as, " never cast a cloud until May is out ", you could actually rely on it.
Winter woolies would go away around about June and you knew, without a doubt, you wouldn't need them again until at least mid September. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't put my woolies away for the summer anymore because you can't, these days, rely on the weather to even be kind in the middle of July.
They were the Summers when it very rarely rained throught the Summer months, apart from the odd shower during the night. These days, Winter or Summer, I carry an umbrella.
Now I know we are going through a very cold snap right now, which has been so cold you could forgive someone for saying,, " global warming ? I'm freezing right now ! " but this has been exceptional weather in many, many years. I truely don't remember being this cold since the big freeze of 1963. Now there was a winter that if someone had said the words global warming to me, I would have laughed at them. Well, I wouldn't really because I was only 6 but you get my drift. Started snowing in January and there were remnents of snow still on the ground in about April. I can still see in my mind, peoples heads bobbing just above the mounds of snow, walking through the trenches people had dug on the streets.
My Son, who is 25 this year was only saying the otherday, that apart from when we got caught in a snow storm in New York in 2004, he's never known cold like this, so up until this winter, I have noticed a definate difference in the climate. Up until this winter, it's definately been getting warmer. Thats no scientist or politian telling me that, thats my personal experience.
These days we only seem to have seasons in name.

Never be overwhelmed by decisions, just consider the right ones and your options will be far fewer.
Here's an interesting story.

I'm just old enough to be able to respond to this one
I agree, the weather's changing. It seems far less predictable. The hot spells don't happen in summer any more. I think it was a couple of years ago it was hotter in April than it was in July or August. It's all gone as wonky as a penguin on acid. Oh no, that's something else I'm thinking of.
