Default Prayers answered in an unexpected way.

Worshippers had their prayers answered when a former altar boy left them the exact amount of money needed to save their crumbling 800-year-old church in his will.

The congregation at St Edburgha's Anglican Church in Yardley, Birmingham, was £56,700 short of the £200,000 they needed to prevent the spire collapsing.

Vicar Bill Sands was preparing to announce the permanent closure of the church when an email unexpectedly arrived from a solicitor in Australia.

I know these things shouldn't surprise us, but they do, and it's so humbling...... I could write a book on the many times that I've received.... sometimes even before I ask God, a gift arrives......how faithful and caring a Father.
