I needed to hear this because the world is discriminating against Christians.

But surely, in the context of unmarried couples getting more, ( tax purposes ), that's not discrimination against Christians, that's just discrimination against married couples. There are thousands upon thousands of married couples who aren't Christians.

Something that Galaen said that I would like to address,

And we are supposed to believe that this is a Christian country?
I don't agree. We live in a country where Church and state are separated. Christianity maybe the dominant faith and we may have a monarch that is head of the Church of England but we aren't a Christian country by the above definition of separation of Church and state. That head has no power of her Government and it's law making policies.

i agree how can we be a christian country when the government is seperate.

71% of population are supposed to be christian, but can,t get in power, when the government is anti-christian.

Well, something I hear very often Cat is, " but we are a Christian country ! "

I think, " no we aren't ". We are a " no faith country ". We aren't ruled by the laws of God ( whether we should is an entirely different topic ), we are ruled by the laws of men. Church and state are separate.

If we were a Christian country, divorce wouldn't be as easy as it is !

That's not true in the UK, as least not officially. From a constitutional point of view, the state and church in the UK are joined. The monarch is the titular head of the CofE, and still has to sign every Act that the government passes before it can become law, and the Archbishop of Canterbury is selected by the PM. Personally I think this last point is scandalous, but that is the current constitutional situation.

I believe Seperation of Church and State is used in my country to discriminate against Christians and to take away from their freedom of speech and freedom to practice religion.
