you could loop the loop forever and always fail.jesus is the way and the life.
if you tell me how many trees are in the garden,lol.![]()
Cat, you OP started with an almost factual,,,
Do you want to be taken seriously by having a serious Bible study or not ?we are given 2 covenants as gentiles.1st is noah,2nd is Jesus.for us our life is easy.beginning and the end.
why do people do the old testament.?not for us.
Because if you do, I can explain how Genesis is indeed applicable today. If you don't want a serious Bible study, then please say so.
Never be overwhelmed by decisions, just consider the right ones and your options will be far fewer.
as a gentile, your under the rainbow covenant, until you get saved.then your covenant is the new testament.
Leviticus 19:28 prohibits tattoos.
Jesus did not do away with the law! You must be careful where your sense of morality comes from. Why do you object to God's law?
There is no punishment for tattoos.
paslms isn,t Gods law.?
we are told not to mix the wine.
Because 2 Timothy 2:15 applies here Dan. The word of God isn't being " rightly divided ".Why do you object to God's law?
Cat, you would do well to reciete 2 Timothy 3:16 over and over and learn that concept.
You are dismissing the word of God and you obviously have no understanding of what Jesus was really saying in Matthew 5:17-20.
Back to my question about Genesis that you failed to answer, either because you don't know or, you embellish a Bible story and then treat your own additions as if you have God's authority behind you.
I have tried with you Cat, others have tried with you, we have tried to teach you, not using our words but Gods word. You refuse to listen. For that you will be held accountable. Those who have encouraged you on this road will also be held accountable.
Genesis starts at the very beginning, how things began and the way things are. We are given a picture of the universe as God intended and what that universe has become. It lays the foundations for our knowledge of God and lays an understanding, even at times when we don't understand Gods purpose, that there is a purpose.
It shows the importance of your relationship with God.
That still applies today.
It reminds us of our responsibilities to the world. He was entrusting us with stewardship of the earth.
That still applies today.
From the beginning, God instituted marriage to unite husband and wife for life.
That still applies today.
God rested after the six days of creation, a pattern that would later be used to regulate Israelite life under the laws given through Moses.
That still applies today.
Genesis is also a book about family relationships. It shows how they can be destroyed by favoritism or by resentments handed down from previous generations.
That still applies today.
Mans greed. Having all you could possibly want ( not need ) but still wanting more.
That still applies today.
Genesis reveals an adversary who masqueraded as a serpent and influenced the first humans to sin.
That still applies today.
But more importantly, its a message that still applies today that shows a God who won't give up on us even though we all fall short. That he embarks with a long and very painstaking task of winning people back.
Even as he expelled Adam and Eve from the garden because of sin, God prophesied that one of their descendants would save humanity, Galatians 3:16
It teaches that God is the Creator and Life-giver, God is personal and desires a relationship with human beings, God is holy and judges sinful humans, God is merciful, even in judgment and last but not least, God is sovereign over every power.
If you think all that in Genesis has no bearing on us today, then there is something seriously wrong.
I leave you with something to savour about what Gods word says about all that junk you listen to on youtube,
2 Timothy 2:16
" But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness "
Never be overwhelmed by decisions, just consider the right ones and your options will be far fewer.
lily what are you saying iv,e said that is wrong.?
why the you tube remark again.?you are getting boring fast on bringing this up .
ive stated that gentiles are not jewish.i think iv,e made myself clear on that.
