It beggars belief that anyone would be so stupid but apparently Agos were.

They are part of a long list of corporate companies that don't care.

I called XM radio to cancel and they don't wish to give my money back so they say I never called.

Argos has refused to confirm how many customers have been affected.
    They should be made to

Instead, the company issued the following statement: "As far as we are aware, Mr Graham is the only customer to have contacted us regarding this potential issue, which has now been fully investigated and resolved to prevent it from happening in the future."

"We have written to Mr Graham apologising for the incident and reassured him that we acted swiftly to amend our procedures and we have no reason to believe that Mr Graham’s details have been compromised as a result of this incident."
    Oh well, that's ok then
Never be overwhelmed by decisions, just consider the right ones and your options will be far fewer.

I had my CC details stolen a couple of years ago. It was a day or two after we had signed up and placed an order with Tesco.com, and suddenly lots of other purchases, including 2 or 3 at various Tesco stores, appeared on my statement. Won't be using them again.

I have not had any ID info stolen but I do have identity theft insurance in case something ever does happen.
