    Default Election and Atonement

God elected some and then atoned for them.

So those whom God did not elect, Christ did not atone for.

Calvinism is basically a caste system. Calvinism pre-supposes that you can't be blotted out because you were never pre-destined to begin with:

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

You can't be blotted out unless you were given a chance to begin with.

    Default Scripture iterprets scripture

Just as Christ told the parable of the sheep and the Goats being seperated on judgment day accoring to their lives (their works)

But we know (i hope) that no one is saved by works but by faith alone.

So we interpret this parable in light of the clear teaching in the scriptures on salvation by faith.

So with the scripture you quoted from Revelation, as scripture cannot contradict itself we must interpret this passage in light of all the other scriptures which clearly teach, election and predestination.

However the scripture you quoted from Revelation agreed with the doctrine of The Perseverence of the Saints which says that those who have truley been saved will persevere until the end.

Do you hold to the doctrinne of eternal security?

are you asking Cat specifically ?

because my walk involves many times when I shove Him to one side, living in the real world does this sometimes, but when that happens I know He carries me, because He knows I have not left Him , just forgotten for a while.
Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me. ....................
