Hi Wabco. I read and enjoy bodybuilding, although at the moment I have so much joint pain that I dare not do any heavy weights.
Many of the articles that I read tell of the diets and all the lies that are out there in the world about dieting and weight loss. The truth is that there is no way that you can lose weight and keep that loss with just dieting alone ! What happens is that your metabolic rate slows down and you actually end up burning less calories than before you dieted, so eating less you will end up putting weight on again.
Dieting MUST be done in conjunction with exersize, eat 500 less calories and burn an exta 500 calories off. All the time increacing your metabolic rate so that at the end of the diet and exersize(don't stop the exersize) you will return to what you were eating before and not gain weight.
Also If you drink plenty of water you will be so much healthier.
